In addition, please provide copies of daily forms for progressive bingo (LE-34a /LE-34b), progressive pull tabs (LE-31a), and progressive raffles (LE-34c). The progressive bingo forms should be updated after each bingo occasion and the pull tab and raffle forms should be updated regularly.

If you have any questions or concerns, contact Lisa Marty at lisa.marty@coloradosos.gov.

2018 Bingo-Raffle Licenses

If you plan to conduct charitable gaming activities in 2018, you can apply for your annual license at any time during 2018 via the paper or online application form (please allow 7-10 working days processing time). This processing time goes for new licenses and renewals, but online submissions will avoid the delivery time needed for paper filings. Licenses will be e-mailed to the organizational e-mail address, if provided, on the paper form, or can be printed directly from the summary page if you apply online (once your filing is accepted). Please review your application before submitting. Visit our forms page to download the paper license application or sign into your account if you wish to apply online. New applicants can start the process from here. Please contact Program Manager Shannon Bee by email at shannon.bee@coloradosos.gov with any questions.

Bingo/Raffle Financial Reports.

Our office is committed to using our state-wide reach to provide timely and accurate data to the bingo/raffle community. We use the information you provide on quarterly reports to publish two informative datasets on our website.

  • Aggregate revenue report: this report contains a "roll-up" of total revenue, expense, and profit data for charitable gaming in the state.
  • Revenue by licensee: this report contains similar information broken down by individual bingo/raffle licensees. We began publishing this report in response to a request from our Bingo/Raffle Advisory Board.

Our website currently contains reports for calendar years 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarters 2017. We will update the reports on a quarterly basis.

Manufacturer and Supplier Mandatory Online Filing for Licenses

Manufacturer and supplier license applications for 2018 must be submitted electronically. Information for accessing the system for renewals will be sent to each current manufacturer and supplier, along with a training guide which will also be available on our website. Supplier and manufacturer licenses can be renewed any time after receiving this e-mail (as long as all quarterly reports are up-to-date). If you have any questions or concerns on creating the account or accessing the system, please contact Shannon Bee at 303 894 2200 x 6406. New supplier and manufacturer applicants can also access the system for the initial submission of the application and creation of your online account here, on or after February 15.

A Bingo Success Story: Carbon Valley Academy by Tony Carey

When you think about bingo, you’re likely to picture a crowded room of attentive people staring holes through numbers on multiple cards, dauber in hand waiting to strike when they hear the phrase ‘B2’. Or maybe you think about the dog that had Bingo as his name-o.

At Carbon Valley Academy, when we hear the word bingo, we see a new gym floor, security cameras to keep our students safe, and Chromebooks to keep up with the pace of learning for our older students. That’s because over the past five years of running the bingo games at Winners Bingo in Aurora on Saturdays, we’ve raised money for all of those things and more. Carbon Valley Academy (CVA) is a charter school in Frederick, Colorado which is a great hometown community of 12,000 people that sits just thirty minutes north of Downtown Denver. Since 2005, CVA has been able to offer a learning alternative to our community and currently has about 300 students ranging from preschoolers to 8th graders.

As the Games Manager and Executive Director of CVA, I wanted to highlight how much running bingo has meant to our organization. We are currently refinancing our building and will use money raised at bingo to pay for closing costs. This has really given our school a way to fundraise that is also giving back to the players who have made our new gym floor possible. In any given year, we pay out over $800,000.00 in prize money to the bingo players who are helping us make high quality education affordable for the next generation of our community.

We’d love for you to come down and join us for a game so you can see what we see when we hear someone shout ‘Bingo’!

Charitable gaming – Revenue

The graph below shows that spending on charitable games for 2017 is estimated to be on track with numbers from previous years. We estimate the 2017 gross amount wagered to be $126,147,733 which is just below the high of $127,684,135 in 2016. These numbers can be found on the aggregate reports under the Charitable Gaming Financial Reports on the Secretary of State website here.
