How do I schedule a games manager training class at my hall?

How do I register for a games manager class?
Each class has different registration instructions. See the "Registration" section of the games manager training schedule below for the specific class you will be attending.
Is there a fee?
Yes, there is an application fee for the Games Manager Certificate. View the current fee schedule.
Fees can be paid by check or money order after attending the training class. We do not accept cash or credit cards.
A signed Games Managers Certificate Application/Oath must be submitted with the fee.
Some instructors do not accept payment at the class. If your instructor does not accept payment, the fee and a signed Games Manager Certificate Application/Oath should be mailed to:

What should I review before the class?
Bring a pen/pencil and paper for taking notes. The instructor will bring the following class material which includes:
How long is the class?
The raffle-only portion of the class is presented first and takes approximately two (2) hours.
The entire class, including both bingo and raffle training, is approximately four (4) hours.
The class duration also depends on the number of people attending and how many questions there are.
Is there anything else that I should do to prepare for the class?
If you are new to bingo and pull tab games, become more familiar with gaming operations and terminology before attending a training class. You might try volunteering to assist in a game, or attending a bingo game as a customer.
Can I use notes or reference materials during the test?
Yes. It is an "open book" test.
When will I find out if I passed the test?
If you passed the test, you will receive your certificate in the mail within 7 to 10 business days.
If you did not pass the test, you will be notified by mail within 7 to 10 business days.
Can I try again if I did not pass the test? Do I have to pay another fee?
You can attend another training class and take the test again.
If you paid the fee on your first attempt, you do not have to pay again.
How long is my certificate valid?
Your certificate is valid for four (4) years.

My organization is applying for a bingo-raffle license. Can we get help with our application?
Yes. If you would like help with your license application, you can sign up for our consultation services. We will meet with you one-on-one to review the application and make sure that you have everything that you need to get a license. This will help you to avoid time-consuming revisions and resubmissions. You can come to our offices, or, in some cases, we'll come to you. This service is open to all first-time applicants.

We are committed to providing Games Manager Classes and licensee outreach and want to ensure anyone who attends the classes be safe.
- During the Games Manager class masks will be encouraged if you have all required vaccines. If you have not been vaccinated please wear a mask while in the building.
- If CDC guidance recommends your county wear masks indoors, we will be wearing masks indoors.
- If a COVID variant is increasing in your area, the Games Manager Class may be postponed.
- If you are exhibiting symptoms of COVID please do not attend the class. If you are having allergy symptoms it is recommended that a rapid, at home test be taken same day prior to attending class. If the result is positive please stay home and follow CDC guidance regarding quarantine.
- If you are exhibiting COVID symptoms, the instructor may ask you to take the test online or schedule yourself for another class.
