Secretary of State Jena Griswold Certifies Colorado 2025 Coordinated Election Ballot

Denver, September 8, 2025 - Today Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold has certified the ballot for the 2025 Coordinated Election.

“I look forward to another successful Coordinated Election this November,” said Secretary Griswold. “Thank you as always to all the County Clerks and election workers across the state for your hard work to ensure every eligible Coloradan can make their voice heard in our secure and accessible elections that lead the nation.”

The Coordinated Election takes place on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

Statewide ballot measures

Coloradans will have the opportunity to vote on 2 statewide ballot measures in the 2025 Coordinated Election.

The following amendments and propositions were referred by the legislature:

  • Proposition LL proposes a statutory change.
  • Proposition MM proposes a statutory change.

In addition to the 2 statewide measures, local initiatives and candidates will be considered by some voters. County Clerks have the most complete information on local ballot contests.

Important information for Colorado voters:

  • All Colorado voters can sign up to track their ballot from mailed to counted using BallotTrax.
  • Eligible Coloradans can register to vote and update their voter registration at GoVoteColorado.gov.

Important upcoming dates for the Colorado 2025 Coordinated Election

  • September 20 - Deadline for County Clerks to send ballots to military and overseas voters.
  • October 10 - First day ballots can be mailed to active voters, except for military and overseas voters.
  • October 17 - Deadline for initial mail ballots to be sent to active voters for the 2025 Coordinated Election.
  • October 27 - Deadline to register to vote and still be mailed a ballot. After this date, register and then vote in person.
    • The minimum number of required voter centers must be open.
    • Last suggested day to return ballots by mail.
  • October 28 - The minimum number of required drop boxes must be open.
    • Voters should return their ballots to a voter center or drop box up to Election Day.
  • November 4 - Election Day. Voters must submit their ballot or be in line to vote by 7:00 PM for their ballot to be counted. Ballots cast by military and overseas voters must be sent no later than 7:00 PM on Election Day and received no later than the close of business on the 8th day after the election (November 12).
