Colorado Secretary of State’s Office to Provide Election Results
Denver, November 5, 2019 – Election Results will be available on the Colorado Secretary of State home page after polls close for the November 5 Coordinated Election. There are two ways results will be posted via the home page, the Election Night Reporting software and unaggregated county-level results.
The Election Night Reporting software (ENR) provides visitors a breakdown of unofficial vote totals by contest, while including maps that illustrate the counties that are reporting, voter turnout, and results. Clerks must report results to the ENR system a minimum of three times on election night. Jackson and San Juan counties, which hand count their ballots, will upload results after they have finished tabulating ballots on election night.
The unaggregated county-level results page will provide links for each county, which will direct the visitor to a PDF report listing results for that county exclusively. Cumulative results for statewide and multi-jurisdictional races will not be included. The Secretary of State’s office will update the report page as data is available, starting when polls close. Results will be updated as they change and will include a time stamp. The last election night update will be at midnight.
