Updated Ballots Returned: 7 p.m. Nov. 7, 2017
DENVER, Nov. 7, 2017 -- Today is Election Day and ballots had to be returned to county clerks by 7 p.m. in order to be counted. Clerks sent 3,243,593 ballots to voters. Here is the last tally of returned ballots:
7 p.m. Nov. 7: 1,074,464 returned
7:46 a.m. Nov. 7: 869,247 returned
8:04 a.m. Nov. 6: 718,174 returned
3:19 p.m. Nov 6: 810,360 returned

There is no statewide ballot measure, and six counties do not have any local issues so are not holding an election. Even if a county is conducting an election, voters who live in districts without any issues or races will not receive a ballot.
