Decision in protest of Sen. Giron recall petition

Denver, July 9, 2013 – Deputy Secretary of State Suzanne Staiert released the decision today in the protest of the petition to recall Sen. Angela Giron (SD-3).  The decision is posted on the Secretary of State’s website at www.sos.state.co.us/pubs/newsRoom/pressReleases/2013/20130709GironDecision.pdf.

Barring any additional challenges, the Secretary of State’s office will submit the final certificate of sufficiency to the Governor. The Governor will set the date for the election.
