Information Technology Fellowship Opportunities

Application development

Fellows will assist in the creation and maintenance of CDOS web applications.  Fellows will also gain professional level experience in web technologies (Java, HTML, and JavaScript) and middleware/back-end development (Services and JDBC).

This fellowship is a paid position.

Tasks include:

  • Fellows will be participating in all facets of the application development lifecycle:
    • Assisting in high-level application design.
    • Creation of front and back-end components and classes to support new functionality.
    • Bug fixes and maintenance of existing applications.
    • Refining policies for the team’s unit testing and continuous integration build processes

Eligibility requirements:

Information security

Fellows will assist our security team with monitoring, researching and reporting network issues.

Tasks include: 

  • Monitoring logs.
  • Security training follow-up.
  • Network flow investigations.
  • Metrics reporting.
  • Researching network events.
  • System audits.
  • Network diagrams.

Eligibility requirements:

  • At least a sophomore in college, enrolled in a computer-related degree program. 
  • Prefer experience in network or computer forensics, windows administration, Unix/Linux administration, and Microsoft Office products.
