Charity Lookup Tool - Colorado Department of Revenue (CDOR).  Please direct all questions about state income taxes and tax refunds to CDOR.

If you have a question regarding why a particular charity is not on the list, please contact the Secretary of State’s Charities Program at charitable@coloradosos.gov.  The most common reasons are:

  1. it was not in Good status on the day the list was generated
  2. it had not been registered for at least five years as of the date the list was created. Look for the date of the organization’s “Initial Registration” on its summary page or in its history.
