The Secretary of State will be eliminating postcard reminders to registered charities, paid solicitors, and professional fundraising consultants effective January 1, 2012. Elimination of postcards is a cost-savings measure that should result in an estimated annual savings of $223,000.
In place of postcard notifications, we will send reminder notices by e-mail to the organization’s registered agent and authorized officer.
You can confirm the e-mail address that we have on record for your organization’s registered agent by referring to your most recent registration statement. You can also file an amendment to change the registered agent’s e-mail address at any time.
