| Description of Subjects/Issues |
The Secretary is considering recodification and amendments to the rules to improve the administration and enforcement of Colorado Charitable Solicitations laws. Specifically, the Secretary is considering rule revisions necessary to ensure proper administration of legislation passed by the Colorado General Assembly, specifically SB17-1158. The Secretary may consider additional rule amendments including revisions necessary to establish uniformity in the administration of current law; eliminate obsolete provisions; organize existing rules for clarity; simplify the language of existing rules; remove language that is duplicative of statute; and ensure consistency with Department rulemaking standards. The Secretary may consider additional rule amendments. Please see the attached Notice of Rulemaking (includes a draft statement of basis and preliminary draft proposed rules). |
